Happy Holidays!
Funded Nov 9, 2023A gigantic THANK YOU for helping fund this project!!! The excitement on my students' faces as we opened the boxes was so enjoyable.!
My students were so excited to begin crafting their holiday projects. They worked so well and carefully as they knew these projects would be given to their family as holiday gifts.
There is nothing better than having some time in school to do some hands-on activities that students really enjoy, appreciate and remember for years...this definitely will be one of those :D
Again, Thank You...Gracias for generously donating to my "Happy Holidays!" class project.”

Time To Re-Stock!
Funded Feb 9, 2022What a great feeling it is to be able to accomplish a mission!!
Well, yesterday I was able to do just that...accomplish the mission of getting all my student's art projects laminated. These will be part of their writing portfolio which are a keepsake for years to come.
I am totally grateful and thankful for your support in helping complete the mission of re-stocking a few necessary materials for my classroom.
The children were so excited to see their work laminated and understand the importance of having their work carefully preserved.
The students also made beautiful Mother's Day cards with the assorted color card stock. They turned out amazing!
Again, THANK YOU ALL for your support to my class projects.
HAVE A WONDERFUL SUMMER :=)”

Designing Diverse Posters
Funded Aug 12, 2021You have helped make the "Designing Diverse Posters" project come to life. Thank you all for helping!!!
With your help my students have created large self portraits using the poster boards, Sharpie markers and the beautiful Crayola Crayons-Colors of the World.
My students wrote I Am poems to go along with their self portraits. Having these materials to work with just made the posters turn out AMAZING :=D They spent a few days on this project and they took such pride to showcase beautiful representations of themselves.
These posters are displayed in our school's hallway. It was great for the students to share these with their parents during our Parent/Teacher Conferences. They absolutely loved them!
Thank you for your wonderful support.”

Funded May 4, 2021Thank you so very much for your support. Having these materials helped provide my students with hands-on experience and English language development. There was a lot of discourse among my learners which was so much fun to listen to their excitement as they created!
We used these materials for a special project titled, Our Favorite Cookies. Each student had to talk about their most favorite cookie and explain to the class what made it their favorite. We then searched for a picture of their cookie on the web, and then printed it out in color.
The students then had to use the Crayola air dry clay to create the cookie only using the printed picture. Then they had to use the acrylic paints to mix and create that perfect cookie color.
This project took the students a week to complete, but they had so much fun! We hung these as ornaments on our bulletin board. Finally, the day before our holiday vacation, we took them down and wrapped them up for students to take home and give as a gift to their family.
The kids truly enjoyed this project!! Thank you again for your support : )”

Funded Sep 22, 2021I just couldn't wait to write this impact letter to tell you how excited I am! I am deeply grateful for you support in funding this project within hours.
The minute that box arrived at the school, I grabbed the flatbed dolly and rolled it to my class to begin opening the package. I had my oldest students (4th graders) read the put it together instructions. They actually worked together to assemble the dry-erase board and they did an amazing job!! I just stood back and watched : )
Of course I began to use it right away! I desperately needed this dry-erase board. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!”

Funded Mar 31, 2021Thank you so very much for your contribution to this project!! I am so thrilled to have these containers for safe storing of student's basic classroom supplies.
The plastic storage containers have come in handy. Each student has their own personal storage container filled with a 3 ring binder, journal, markers, glue, scissors, erasers, pencil sharpener, ruler, facial tissue, and hand sanitizer.
The containers are easy to handle by the students and are easily stack-able. Students grab their own storage containers and have everything they need right there. The students absolutely love these containers. Plus it helps to ensure everything gets back in once finished using class materials. The students also love the fact that the containers are clear!
Again, thank you for helping to make safe storing possible for my students : }”

Funded Dec 1, 2020I am extremely grateful for your generous donation and kindness during such an important time in the school year. You really did takeaway the stress of making sure I could provide these materials for my students!
Your donation helped me provide my amazing students with project materials and snack to have at home. Every day for a whole school week we worked on a project a day. It was pretty amazing watching some parents get involved in helping their young students work on their projects.
The students were engaged and motivated and this is something that is so much needed during remote learning. It was so much fun doing these projects remotely! Thank you so much for your support.”

Funded Oct 22, 2020THANK YOU for your thoughtful donation to my project. I am so thrilled to have such a beneficial device to use during my online classes! It has been really great using my new document camera to show the students what we are working on and to display books as I read them. Life during virtual teaching has become so much easier. I can now display handouts instead of holding them up to the computer screen. I can also display lesson writing so that students can copy and follow along. So again, I am truly appreciative of your support to my class.”

Back to School-Keeping Clean
Funded Jul 12, 2020Thank you so much for your support! It was wonderful receiving the boxes this summer with items to keep us clean in the classroom.
Our school is in remote learning right now, but these items are in my class waiting for the children to come back to in-person learning. It will be great knowing that each child will have their own personal item in the class for them to have.
The manual pencil sharpeners were sent home during our school's "Roll-Out Backpack". The kids were very happy to receive these. Again, I am very appreciative of your support.”

Funded Jan 23, 2020"Wow...amazing...beautiful!" were some of the words heard throughout the gymnasium when the school wide collaborative KINDNESS quilt was revealed. It was such an amazing moment to see the smiles on everyone's face. This quilt turned out to be a unique quilt that ALL students and staff took part in. Everyone did an excellent job illustrating acts of kindness and writing kindness quotes.
It is a quilt to be exceptionally proud of and beautiful to look at. The quilt will hang in a prominent place where it will show how kind our school is and that KINDNESS MATTERS here.”
