Because I work in an inclusion classroom, I want the inclusion students to have all the resources they need to succeed. By getting touch screen Chromebooks the students will be helped in two ways. First, in New Jersey my students take the PARCC, so they will be able to practice using technology as they learn material. When they take the PARCC the technology component it will not be a shock to them as they will have practiced with it on a daily basis. Secondly, my students respond better and are more motivated to work with technology. Currently we have the students write on the white board tables with dry erase markers to have students work out problems that they are learning. However, at times this is problematic because things get erased or it does not translate as well on white board tables as it will with touch screen Chromebooks. With this technology there are tools that students can use to flip or manipulate pieces to better help them visualize what they are doing.
