My young learners are entering first grade with an inspiration to read. In our classroom they will strengthen their early reading skills and read every day to be super readers. Together we will partner read, share read, guided read, and read individually. The fun, flexible and comfortable Flex-Space BeanBags will allow my students to "sink" into their seats and "sink" their minds into their books. Also, the Flex-Space Floor Seat will allow more mobile spaces to read during all of our designated times for reading in the school day. In a typical desk students are limited to a small space in the classroom and does not promote sharing. These new Flex Space options will keep them focused, while open to their peers in the classroom community. As students are more comfortable and have seating options they can build reading stamina to read longer and stronger. This will then foster their learning to read.
