Off to a Great Start!
Funded Sep 29, 2022It was exciting to receive our goodies for the beginning of the year it definitely helped us stay organized. We received small and large red and blue bin. We organized our English phonics centers in small blue bins and our Spanish phonics centers in small red bins. This helped so much because now the centers are more visual and students know exactly where to go when they have to work in a center. I no longer have to swap out centers weekly. The large bins really helped students with their reading baggies. Students have limited space in their desks so having a specific bin for their books based on the language of the week helped so much.
We also received dry eraser white boards and this was a great help because we have used them to practice many things. We write our sight words, solve math problems, record our answers when working independently and with a buddy.
We are so grateful for everything we received this year that helped get this year off to a great start. Because these items are not used individually, we will be able to continue to use them in future years.”

Funded Aug 18, 2017My students were very excited to receive our new resources. When they saw the chair socks they thought they were just tennis balls but when they realized that they were special balls to help keep the noise level down when we moved their chairs, they were amazed! At first, the students had to pick up their chairs and push it in their desks to avoid the loud screeching on the floor. However, now the students really enjoy simply pushing their chairs in and not hearing any noise. The room is much quieter and when a student need to get up, the other students don't get distracted with the noise.
The next thing we have been able to enjoy is our K' motion stools. We didn't have any seating in our small group table, so we always had to meet on the floor. Now we quietly work in our conference table and enjoy our comfortable stools that help the students stay focus as they can make small quick movements but yet not lose focus of what they are doing.
These two items have really helped our class minimize distractions and are greatly appreciated by all.”
