With a listening center, my students will be able to take charge of their reading. They will be able to enjoy more books, regardless if they are struggling readers. With this center more children will be able to enjoy the same book. Students will be able to listen to a story and hear how the reader brings a story to life. Since it is wireless it will make set up and clean up easier for my little six year old hands. Another important factor that will help a lot is how compact the station is. I have a large class, but small classroom so this will help too!
