Since many of my students do not have a computer and/or internet at home, I try to teach them how to use technology as much as I possibly can in school. By having these 10 tablets in my classroom, my students would be able to use the following applications and resources to raise their interest levels in all subjects: FIRST-THEN VISUAL SCHEDULE (visually see daily schedule), BRAINPOP (short educational videos with activities), POP MATH (reinforce math skills), ABA TIMER (behavior modification), to name a few. This is an opportunity to reinforce teaching with my students who each have an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and will be a great resource to help them reach their annual goals. The use of these tablets in my classroom would have such a HUGE impact on my students.
