The donations towards these classroom guitars will make a difference in students' lives that don't have acoustic guitars of their own. The guitars are also smaller in size, so smaller or younger students can be successful versus struggling on a regular sized acoustic guitar.
Our beginning acoustic guitar class will teach students guitar skills to last a lifetime!
Some objectives in the class will be: students count, read, and perform music of varying styles and levels of difficulty. They also begin to describe, respond to, interpret, and evaluate works of music and create basic variations of simple melodies.
Having a guitar class within the school system will attract more students to MUSIC that might not typically be interested in band or chorus classes that are normally offered.
