Many times, students want to read books one-on-one, and with a class of 15 kids, there is simply just not enough time to accommodate them personally. By following along with the stories that peak their unique interests, students will be more open to embracing reading and its respective components. Audiobooks enhance the child's experience, as the narrator makes words come alive, fully engulfing them in a story packed with sensory stimulation, while sharpening an invaluable lifelong skill. Additional benefits include dramatization from the narrator as well as background music, creating a pleasant experience and encouraging them to continue cultivating their skills. By reading along, students better embrace the concept of reading and can overcome words they may struggle with by hearing them aloud.
