  • Let's Get Them Reading as Many Books as Can Be!

    Thank you so much for contributing to our classroom's library. My students were so excited when the books arrived. We received brand new, beautiful books that range from different reading levels. I was able to disperse these new books into various book bins, based on reading level.

    My students go "Book Shopping" every week for new books to keep in their book bags. Everyday, my students take out their book bags and prepare for Writer's Workshop. This is when the children read their books aloud, and then read with their partner.

    It is so special when I see my students pick out new books with excitement on their faces.

My classroom library is currently very limited and small. I would absolutely love to have a variety of books at all different reading levels. I want to give my students the opportunity to go "book shopping" on a weekly basis, so that they can pick out new books and keep them in their book bags. I want my students to read their books multiple times each day, so that they master each book by the end of the week! I want my students to be excited to read and to get new books! If I have amazing books in my library, my kids will love to do their weekly book shopping and daily reading! We need nonfiction books and a cart. Thank you for your support!
