The students in my classes keep asking for more and more nonfiction titles - especially my boys. Each child in my classroom meets with me for a book conference at least once a week and I want to keep them enthusiastic about meeting with me. This means I am always on the search for more reading materials. I often go to consignment shops looking for previously used books but fiction titles are always easier to find. Therefore, I am asking for help to purchase nonfiction books. This project is requesting nonfiction reading materials including SuperScience magazine, and one copy each of Play Soccer Like a Pro, Dwayne Wade Basketball Superstar, Storyworks Text Set, Stadium, Jersey, Player Football Nouns, Play Basketball Like a Pro and Play Football Like a Pro. These books and magazine will go into my nonfiction section of my library where any of my students can pick it up and read it. I also let my students check them out and take them home. I want to make sure all my students can read anytime they want!
