Learning English Through Technology

The new headphones have finally made possible for my students, English Language Learners to practice English on a daily basis. They use class iPads on Rosetta Stone which is a software that helps especially on English speaking. Also, my students have made good use of the chrome book, also funded from our donors, on practicing English by accessing materials online.

Furthermore, by using the new technology, the headphones and chrome book, the students have been able through an online digital library called MyOn, to access over 1700 books with the options to read themselves or have the books read to them and they can just listen to the story.

As an overall benefit, the new technology has created the possibility for my students to be more exposed to the new language, by listening, speaking, and looking at self-explanatory colorful images to better comprehend. Particularly pictures and images help them understand that shows the technology significance on their language acquisition. Thank you for funding my project.”
