Cricut Creativity
Funded Oct 24, 2019Thank you very much for your donation to Cricut Creativity. We have used the Cricut machine to help design posters, clipboards and other exciting things for our classroom. We are able to make beautiful signs for our bulletin boards.
The children were so excited when the packages came and we unpacked the materials. They started to brainstorm ideas that we would be able to use the Cricut.
We are planning on designing t-shirts that we can wear to our school BBQ in the spring.
Thank you very much for your generous donations.”

Funded Aug 27, 2018Thank you so much for donating to our project. Having the use of a Chromebook in my classroom has helped my students greatly. One of my students does not speak English, she is able to work on different websites to help her learn her letter sounds, blends and read. I am able to print pictures for my English Language Learners in color to help them identify objects.
The students love to put on their headphones, open the Chromebook and get onto websites to help them support what they are learning in the classroom. I have set up reading, and math logins for them to various learning websites and I am able to monitor their progress.
Some of my students do not have access to technology at home, so being able to use it in school makes them so happy. I love to see the smiles on their faces.
Thank you so much for your generous donation.”

Funded Feb 10, 2017We would like to thank you very much for your donation to our project on Donors Choose. Our new and wonderful easel has helped us in many different ways. For example, when we were writing our reviews, I was able to use the easel to hold the model writing piece. The children were able to identify the different parts of our opinion writing and transfer the strategies into their own writing pieces.
I received a phone call from the main office telling us that we received our delivery. The children and I were so excited that we couldn't wait to put it together. They helped me unpack the carton and attempt to put it together. The easel is so sturdy and heavy that I was afraid the children would get hurt helping me put it together. I enlisted the help of two fellow teachers and we were able to complete the task of constructing our easel. As they were walking back into the classroom, their faces were so shocked and surprised. They couldn't wait to use it.
We will be using the easel for interactive writing in our poetry unit. They can't wait!!!!
Thank you very much for your generosity and thoughtfulness.”
