It's Landscapes not Landscrapes??? I teach Art to grades K-2. This year our 7 year old school has grown in student numbers. I am very experienced in having my students make art with almost anything...we excel at recycling. However, this year because of our growth, I do not see myself being able to have enough supplies. I always try to do one major "standout" project. Last year our art theme for the year was eARTh it has ART. For this theme the entire school made rain sticks using paper rolls, tissue paper and rice. The height of recycling. Because my students are so young, and because I use recyclables so much they do not really know about real art supplies. Well, other than markers, paint and crayons. My students have never painted on a canvas. I would like for them to have this experience with their first landscape painting. They do not quite get landscapes, thus title at the top...one little boy said landscrapes.
