Book Clubs: Read It! Discuss It!
Funded Jan 13, 2017Thank you for funding my project. The books you donated have made all the difference to my students. The books were used to start book clubs in my classroom. These leveled books allowed my students to choose a "just right" book. The students read the books independently. Each book club decided how many pages to read for that day. As they read, students used post-its to mark the key points in their book. Then students discussed their ideas about their book with their club. Book clubs have inspired my students to read. They loved reading the books! Thank you for your generosity!”
