    Funded Mar 27, 2018

Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity. It is because of you that these students will have the basic essentials that will enhance their learning. I am looking forward to seeing the smiles on their faces because someone thought enough of them to make this happen. Thank you again.”

  • Equipment Training: Girls Basketball

    Funded May 25, 2017

Thank you for purchasing this equipment for my school's basketball team. When financial situations are not ideal, often times sports are not seen as a necessity. These supplies will allow the team to continue to condition and train in an effort to become better athletes during the year. I appreciate the support you continue to give to our school in various departments.

It is truly a blessing for the donations we receive to make up for the shortcomings of our budget deficit in the black belt of Alabama. We treasure our partnerships with donors and organizations such as these. Thank you again!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Anderson

This classroom project was brought to life by DICK'S Sporting Goods Foundation - Sports Matter and one other donor.

  • Supply Us With Knowledge, Equip Us With Power.

    Funded Dec 20, 2016

Thank you so much for supplying us with what we need. We are beyond grateful and because of you our students are excelling mighty. The students are excited and confident about getting their work done. When they first got yhe materials the students were like Wow all this for us. One student said "I didnt know we can get stuff in here because nobody ever thinks about us." Everything they do now is done with a smile and their self-esteem has elevated.

During the past couple of months these students have been faced with multiple tragedies and they have used these resources not only for academics alone but they have been used for therapeutic purposes as well. They used the notebooks daily to write down different notes from class and some use it as a daily journal to write down what they feel instead of talking about it.

Our next steps are to continue to excel in our academics and get more resources so that every student can have their own individual items. Not only are students grateful but parents are as well. Many of our students come from families that are less fortunate and this has been a big help. Thanks for everything you have done for us.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Anderson

I asked for composition notebooks because my students take a lot of notes and these books are really guide to refer back to for study guides and are able to be used during tests and it takes up less room than a three-ring binder. I requested hand putty and wrist handy grips to strengthen the hands of my students who have cerebral palsy so that they may be able to grip things better. I requested a chromebook for my students because now we borrow chromebooks and have to return them at a certain time which causes an inconvenience because we require a lot of extended time.
