Getting students to love reading can be very difficult, especially if it's a book they are not interested in. After watching my students and learning a lot about them, I have figured out which books will keep them engaged and these are some of the titles. I know that having these books in our classroom library will encourage them to frequent it more often. Many of my students are struggling readers, and when they finally find a book that they like, they become hooked and want to read more like it. I want to create a classroom where students can't wait to flip to the next page of the book to find out what happens next. Finding a love in reading is our major goal for this year and with these book I know it's possible.
