In the past, I have noticed that many students do better with something in their hands and being able to fidget just a little bit. Being hyperactive myself, I always have something which I find myself messing with, whether it be an expo marker cap or my wedding ring. When students bring in new fidget toys, I am amazed by them and how relaxed some of them make me feel. As an educator, part of my philosophy is to provide my students any and all chances to do well and succeed, as well as focus in the classroom. Through the use of these devices, I feel they will be able to remain on task and take responsibility of their own education to newer heights
