Students love engaging books and songs. Each week we sing a songtale, or a story through song, in class. Students listen to the story for several days enjoying the melody and the pictures. Throughout the year we revisit the books and students take turns singing to the class. They are proud that they are able to sing and share a book that they love! Students love sharing these songs at school and a set that could be checked out at home would allow families to sing together. Many siblings know the songs from class as well, and I look forward to having families sing together. Parents comment that they hear these songs, but don't always understand the words. Sharing the books at home will allow parents to learn as well!
