My young learners need an iPad to enrich their classroom learning environment. An iPad will provide endless opportunities for learning. I will be able to use the iPad to share videos with my students on a wide range of subjects. Can you imagine the look on my preschoolers' faces when I share a video about the metamorphosis of a butterfly! I will also be able to use the iPad to read to my students with iBooks, play educational music selections from iTunes, and plan lessons with iTunes U. We live in a very high-tech world, and it is important to expose children to the best and latest technology available. My Pre-K classroom is in need of classic shelves to help store my students’ books and other classroom supplies. New shelving units will allow my Pre-K students and me to stay more organized on a daily basis. They will use these shelves on a daily basis to return things such as manipulatives and to get extra needed supplies such as pencils, crayons, and glue sticks. The shelves will be great pieces for storage and add to our room! The informational text set will be used during center time. The stunning photography and simple text make them an ideal choice for read-alongs. My students need to practice listening and follow simple steps. This CD read along will help benefit my students in so many ways.
