  • Keeping Our Classrooms Clean and Ready for Learning!

    Funded Mar 7, 2025

Thanks to your generous support, our school has become a cleaner, more organized, and more inviting space for learning. The cleaning supplies you helped provide have already made a noticeable difference in our daily routines.

With items like disinfectant wipes, paper towels, baby wipes, Swiffer pads and solution, as well as the Swiffer Wet Jet and stick vacuum, we're now able to maintain a tidy environment with greater ease and efficiency. These tools allow us to quickly address spills, messes, and everyday classroom wear and tear—helping us stay focused on what matters most: teaching and learning.

A clean classroom is a more productive and welcoming place to be. These supplies are supporting a healthier environment and helping us minimize distractions, reduce disruptions, and maintain a space where students can thrive.

Looking ahead, we're continuing with hands-on projects and group activities, and having reliable cleaning materials on hand ensures we can move through our lessons smoothly while keeping our space fresh and safe. Your contribution has had a lasting impact on our classroom, and we're so grateful for your support in making this possible.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Abbie

  • Work Station Organization

    Funded Jul 25, 2022

Thank you so much for your generosity and choosing to support my classroom. These materials have enabled us to be so much more organized than we were before. The drawers fit perfectly under the desk that holds our silhouette machine which make it so easy to use and keep our materials organized. The desk is also the perfect work station that is large enough to hold the machine while still giving space to work. The lamp is also a lovely addition which give a nice homey feeling to our classroom.

We are so appreciative for all the love you have shown to our classroom.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Abbie

  • Literacy Station Organization

    Funded Apr 4, 2022

Thank you so much for your generosity and choosing to support my classroom. These materials have enabled us to be so much more organized than we were before. We love to rotate our writing center materials in and out in order to create and maintain interest in writing for our youngest learners. This is so difficult to do when materials are scattered and disorganized. The binders also gave us a great way to create class books that are compiled from the students art work and dictations.

We are so appreciative for all the love you have shown to our classroom.”

    With gratitude,

  • Tuff Tray for Pre-Writing Skills

    Funded Apr 4, 2022

Thank you so much for your generosity and choosing to support my classroom. This tuff tray was a wonderful addition to my classroom. This tray has been perfect for small world play, sensory play, and even academic activities such as measuring, letter matching, etc. The tray is able to keep the sensory materials my students love so much contained and able to be left out and used day after day. We even love using this tray for drawing with chalk as it is easily wiped down and used again.

We are so appreciative for all the love you have shown to our classroom.”

    With gratitude,

  • Art Storage Galore

    Funded Mar 1, 2022

Thank you so much for providing these much needed items for my classroom. We were in great need of storage solutions for our paint and small manipulative toys. These were the perfect items to meet the needs of our classroom. The water bottle storage racks were the perfect fit for our tempera bottles. It made them easy to get to without having to knock everything down in the process. The small drawer storage was the perfect storage solution for our small manipulative toys to be able to keep them sorted when not in use and easy to switch from one type to another.

Thank you again for supporting my classroom.”

  • Proud Displays of Creativity

    Funded Feb 3, 2022

The frames that we received from this project were an amazing addition to our new classroom. We moved into a brand new classroom this year that had very little bulletin board space for displaying the children's art work. We also used the picture frames to display photos of our students. We want our room to reflect our students and their work. These frames are so cute and are a great way to display our students art. They love seeing their work up on the walls. Thank you so much for helping our new room to feel like home.”

  • Teachers Helping Teachers

    Funded Jan 21, 2022

Thank you so much for contributing to our project for a Teachers Pay Teachers gift card. We have been able to purchase materials to supplement the studies that we have been working on such as insects, gardening, and end of the year countdown. We have been having so much fun learning about the life cycles of crickets, caterpillars, ants, and chickens. We were able to get live insects and hatch chicks and the materials we got from Teachers Pay Teachers enhanced our learning on these topics. What a fun year it has been and you have helped to enrich our experiences!”

  • Hip Hip Hooray, It's the 100th Day!

    Funded Feb 6, 2022

Thank you so much for making our 100th day of school so much fun! We have been counting up to the 100th day since the first day of school. Back then it seemed so far away. Our students were so excited in the final days of our countdown. We did so many fun things that day. We started out by entering that morning through a banner with streamers hanging in the doorway. We used the balloon banner to decorate our room. We did many fun activities including making a necklace with 100 beads, dancing to 100, counting, making 100 with blocks, etc. What a memorable experience it was. Thank you so much for helping us to celebrate!”

  • Kindergarten, Here We Come!

    Funded Mar 1, 2022

Our preschool students have worked hard all year! They have grown so much in their time with us. They have made friends, learned social emotional skills, and their academic skills have grown exponentially! They are ready to go to kindergarten. We are going to miss them so much but they are ready. We wanted to send them off with a little gift with some fun activities for summer along with a book about going to kindergarten. Thank you so much for making it possible for us to do so. We are very grateful for the support that we have received this year!”

  • Help Our Imaginations Soar

    Funded Mar 1, 2022

This addition to our art center has been awesome. My students have enjoyed being independent in their painting. They now have the ability to choose their own colors and even to experiment with mixing colors. They are able to get their paint tray, choose and pump the colors they want, paint, and even wash their own tray and brushes when they are done. We are so grateful for the support we have received from you. So many wonderful things have been made possible for our classroom through DonorsChoose and donors like you.”

I have the pleasure of working with 20 students within a full day preschool program in the greater Chicago area. They are 4-5 year olds with an array of challenges to overcome within their education. The majority of the students come from low socioeconomic backgrounds whose families are working diligently to provide for their children's needs. Many of these same students also have disabilities that add to their needs within the classroom, and require the curriculum to be brought to them by unconventional means. Yet even with all the hurdles they face, they walk through my doors with smiles each day and are ready to learn!
