On behalf of PS 229 and the entire community, I would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for your generous donation through Donors Choose. Your support has made our dream project, The Supermarket Sweep, a reality for our elementary students in physical education class. They were so excited when they saw the delivery of the materials and had something tangible to have a hands on learning experience.

The Supermarket Sweep project is an innovative and hands on way for students to learn about the 5 essential food groups, healthy eating habits, and essential life skills while also strengthening their aerobic and muscular endurance with the use of the scooters. Thanks to your donation, we can now transform our gymnasium into a mini supermarket. We are grateful for your kindness and generosity.”
