  • Hands On Math Centers and Organization

    Funded Dec 16, 2024

Thank you so much for your donation. Funding this project allows my students to have access to the materials they need to be successful in math class. Your partnership is greatly valued and makes eductaion accessible to all. We are super excited to dive into that materials and enhance our math knowledge!”

  • Creative Tonies Listening Center For My Kinders!

    Funded Aug 20, 2024

We cannot thank you enough for your generosity to buy our classroom a toniebox. We have had an amazing time listening to stories and creating our own. This has energized my reading center which can be quiet boring when students have yet to learn to read.

So far the student have loved listening to the stories the toniebox tells. We are building our reading stamina to listen to a full story without distraction. The calming tonie also has been a great resource for my students that need to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the classroom.

I am even more excited about the creative tonies. They allow me to upload the stories we are reading in class. Students that are absent are able to hear the story they missed. I plan to make sound tonies to help students learn their sounds and identify initial, medial and ending sounds.

Thank you for your amazing donations!”

  • Color Printer For Our Kinder Classroom!

    Funded Aug 15, 2024

We cannot thank you enough for your generosity to purchase our classroom a colored printer. This has made life so much brighter and easier to create a warm and creative environment for my students to learn.

So far we have created fun decorations, student inspired bulletin boards, and word walls to support understanding of tricky phonics patterns.

I can't wait for the students to start creating projects on their iPads to print and hang. This will be meaningful to bring their coding and computer skills to life.

Thank you again for being a part of our classroom with your giving.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Wermager

  • Times Magazine for Kids!

    Funded Oct 5, 2024

We are so thankful you partnered with our classroom to provide current events to our students. The students love the colorful interactive magazines that they get to take home. These magazines will add the content we need to an old dry curriculum! Thank you again for your generosity, we greatly appreciate it!”

  • Building Readers that Seek Knowledge of the World Around Them.

    Funded Dec 8, 2023

Thank you for the books/magazines we were able to add to our Science/Social Studies curriculum. We have been able to utilize these materials during small groups for the students to explore topics independently. I am very excited to dive into our Spring Project-Based Learning Module where the students will be researching animals and human impact. The books will aid the students in their research.

The students are especially loving the TIMES for kids magazines. It has added a lot of critical thinking converstations to our Social Studies class. The students are able to explore current events and respond to what we have read about.

We can't thank you enough for the joy that you have brought through books. It has been thrilling to watch the students enjoy the learning process.”

  • HELP! My Classroom Flooded

    Funded Aug 19, 2021

I can not begin to describe the thanks we have for your contribution. It was devastating to lose donor bought materials to three floods. Thankfully the plumbing has been fixed and we are now in a colorful space ready to learn. The vibrant cushions have been so helpful in more ways than one. They are a cute seat for my students but they also enable me to space them apart for safety. When protocol changes we will be able to enjoy the beautiful rugs that were purchased. The bookcase was a great contribution to the classroom and the many books we got fill the shelves nicely. Student read every morning in their book nook. Student are well on their way to becoming published authors now that we have our writing journals. Students have the opportunity to keep their writings in one place. We easily pick up where we left off, edit and review our writing works. Our surge protectors were such a life saver now that all student have devices in class. We created a charging station out of an old shelving unit so each ipad has a space and their cords are easily assessible. Don't worry the picture of the cords is not for student use! Once again, from the bottom of our hearts, we want to thank you!

Look for more ways to give by searching for our classroom. We are currently working on a science project to provide manipulatives for our students. Along with an art project to add fun and creativity back to the Kindergarten curriculum.”

  • Learning Kits for Online Learning

    Funded Dec 31, 2020

I can't thank you enough for coming along side my classroom to provide the necessary resources we needed to get through this school year. My students were able to use the notebooks to write on the lines and learn how to properly write, while building their fine motor muscles to write smaller letters. The tens frames gave students the needed visual to learn their tens facts. And the other resources added color and fun to what was a looking like a drab end of the school year. My students knocked my socks off with how far they grew and everything they achieved. We were truly IN THIS TOGETHER with your generosity! Your money was more than supplies, it was LOVE that I needed to keep going and pushing through to give my students the best kindergarten school year they deserved!”

  • Flex Seating for Collaboration!

    Funded Aug 14, 2019

I wanted to take the time to write to you about how wonderful having flex seating has been for my students. We use our flex seating everyday. The students are more focused, able to collaborate with peers in small groups and feel at home with the comfy seating options.

The students and parents were so excited to see all the options and the color that it brought to my drab basement classroom. No one seemed to notice the discolored cinder block walls and pipes.

My goal is to continue to acquire pieces that are suitable for our space and replace our worn out tables and hard chairs. Our students are continuing to work on collaboration and speaking out their ideas. I am excited to see how the furniture continues to impact their learning.”

  • Minimal Maintenance to Maintain Mastery

    Funded May 13, 2019

We want to say a huge thank you for supporting our classroom. The school budget has been so minuscule the past few years that items such as pencil sharpeners and staplers don't make the cut. We are allocated paper to print our curriculum and not any extra. Providing me with paper allows me to print fun packets to send home for the students to continue practicing their skills. Simple things like this are so impactful for parents that can't afford to buy workbooks and flash cards for practice. My students are also thrilled they no longer have to use a manual pencil sharpener. Their little hands get a work out when it's time to sharpen the many pencils and colored pencils at each activity center. Although the items purchased weren't grand they help us function and waste less time throughout the day. Thank you again for your support!”

    Mrs. Wermager

  • Brightening Up Our Basement!

    Funded Dec 9, 2016

We can't thank you enough for supporting our students in the area of writing. Having journals that allow the student to see the lines has drastically improved their letter formation. The Journals allow for our kiddos to go back easily to revise or continue writing which is a huge deal in Kindergarten since this age tends to lose everything. HA! The parents love seeing the progress they make and we have received numerous compliments from administration when they have observed. Its great to look back and see how far they have come!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Wermager
