  • Let's Start This Year Off Right!

    Funded Oct 3, 2024

No way! Thank you so much for your generosity! I can’t wait to tell my kids and get started. My previous students loved Scholatic News, and I’m positive this years bunch is going to enjoy it as well. Thank you helping me expose my students to the world around them!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Cahill

  • Are You on Mute??

    Funded Jan 19, 2024

Thank you so much for your generosity! It seems silly, but supplies like headphones make a huge difference in the classroom. Now, when is time for math or reading, the room is calm and my kids can concentrate! My students are able to focus much better because of you!

Headphones are costly, and many of the families cannot afford to buy or replace broken ones.

When the package arrived, my students (as well as myself) were so excited! They called them the fancy headphones!

It's the little things that make the biggest difference, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Cahill

  • Let's Start This Year Off Right!

    Funded Sep 13, 2023

Your generosity is greatly appreciated! My students were so excited to open up their first edition of Scholastic News. Many of them had not been exposed to the magazine, and it was great to see the curiosity blossom as we read the article.

My first graders know our routine- every Friday, we dive into either a Scholastic News or a Science Spin article. I love that I am able to expose them to science and social studies concepts that they might not otherwise get an opportunity to explore.

My young scholars deserve the best, and donors like you make this possible!”

    Ms. Cahill

  • It's a Fresh Start!

    Funded Sep 29, 2022

Thank you, thank you thank you! We have been loving the Scholastic Weekly and Sight Word journals!

These resources have allowed me to introduce reading in new and fun ways. My kids love the science and social studies articles in Scholastic, and the online games are so much fun! The sight word journals and play-doh have helped me to sneak in extra phonics work without the kids knowing, and as a teacher, that is amazing!

Your generosity is very appreciated! My kids and I thank you for making learning fun :)”

  • We Need A Break!

    Funded Sep 29, 2022

Oh my goodness!!! Thank you so much for your generosity!

My kids have been loving free time in our classroom! It has been amazing to see the imagination and communication blossom in our room. Students who tend to be quiet are finding ways to express themselves through play, which for a teacher, is the best thing!!!

My future engineers are definitely making good use of the legos, play doh, and building sets! It is so cool to see them planning and executing together.

I can say with certainty that my students look forward to every Friday afternoon!”

  • Full Steam Ahead!

    Funded Mar 31, 2022

Wow! I was so excited when I received my package, but I had no idea how much of an impact these gifts would have on my students!

This has been a difficult year for my class. Many of them have been remotely learning since pre-k. This means they have had little opportunity to interact, let alone socialize with students in their age group.

Your generosity has provided my students the ability to unlock their problem solving and interpersonal skills. It is amazing to watch my little ones engage in imaginary play with the Legos and Magnatiles! They have become quite the builders and communicators!

Thank you so much for your ongoing support of classrooms in need!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Cahill

  • Time to Refresh!

    Funded Oct 24, 2021

Your support and generosity is greatly appreciated! This has been a challenging year, but your donation has definitely made an impact on our classroom!

The markers and lamination pouches have been a big help, but if you ask my students, they would say it was the Play-Doh! Thank you so much for the play-doh refill and creativity set. My kids love the stampers and rollers. It has been so much fun watching them use their imagination and interact with one another.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for all the help you have given us this year!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Cahill

  • Diverse Learning for Unprecedented Times!

    Funded May 4, 2021

I cannot thank you enough for your generosity! My class was so excited when the boxes arrived! We just started a new reading program and these laptops have saved the day! I am able to conduct a whole class lesson while a few students are working on reading intervention lessons on the laptops- in the teaching world, this is a real game changer! The ability to reach students at their levels and interests makes all the difference!

This has been a challenging year, but with the support from people like you, we can continue to create the best learning environment for our students!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!”

  • A Little Privacy Please!

    Funded May 27, 2019

These have been the classroom supply that I never knew I needed!!!! Your generosity has made such an impact on our ability to work independently and focus!

My students are so excited to have their own personal work space- we have decided to call them cubicles :).

Now that the school year is in full swing, I am able to take a step back and see how important these separators are. They give my students who have testing anxiety a sense of calm, my students with attention difficulties the ability to focus on the tasks in front of them, and my students who need some time to themselves a chance to breathe!

Thank you so much for helping to improve our classroom!”
