This classroom project was brought to life by Con Edison and 7 other donors.

My students love going up to the board to show their classmates their amazing work! However without a document reader, my students have to rewrite their work on the board which consumes so much time in a 42 minute period. With a document reader, there can be a daily homework presenter and students can come up to the board and easily share their work! A document reader will give them the opportunity to become comfortable explaining their work and helping others assess their work. Talking in front of a crowd is always nervous and scary but the more they do it the less nervous they will be. This is why this is extremely important in a math classroom and students will make the best of it!
