One of my students' favorite activities during the day is our Literacy period where we read big books and discuss the story and make anchor charts. The children love to participate and listen to their classmates comments. A great deal of learning occurs when we meet at our Literacy Center, however, it has been difficult to be organized and keep the chart paper up because we are using a big book stand. With the easel I'm requesting, I will be able to better organize materials for weekly lessons, students can use the magnetic board and white board functions in small group and center work. My class and I will greatly appreciate and donations to this project because it will only enrich their learning experience more!
