  • Snacks Are the Best!

    Funded Feb 5, 2025

I hope this note finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to personally thank you for your incredibly generous support. I feel so grateful for the thoughtfulness you have shown.

Your generosity has made a significant difference, and I am deeply appreciative of your willingness to contribute in such a meaningful way.

My students love having a snack closet. I appreciate it especially when the students are hungry. I have something to give them that will not be distracting to others, but will make their tummy happy.

Thank you again for your generosity.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Davide

I hope this note finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to personally thank you for your incredibly generous support.

Thank you so much for your generosity. I appreciate being able to give my students snacks. I especially like using it as a motivation tactic. For example, yesterday I gifted my students who followed the direction first with a snack.

Your generosity has made a significant difference, and I am deeply appreciative of your willingness to contribute in such a meaningful way

Thank you again for your kindness”

    With gratitude,

  • Let's Read Percy Jackson

    Funded Oct 3, 2024

Thank you so much for your generous donation. Students love the graphic novel I was able to purchase, some even took it home they were so excited to read it!

With the money you donated, I was also able to purchase Percy Jackson in Spanish. I had two students excitingly take the book home so that they can read it on their own. Giving them this opportunity to read in their native language is a gift! It also allows them to read it in both English and Spanish to help improve their knowledge of both languages.

Thank you for your generosity it is much appreciated!”

  • Time for Kids

    Funded Nov 4, 2024

Thank you so much for your thoughtful gift. Time for Kids is such a valuable tool I can use in my classroom weekly.

My students love it because the articles are student friendly and about current event topics that actually affect them! It also has articles about students their age making a difference.

For the task, students are allowed a choice of what article to read and it always surprises me with which article they end up choosing.

Thank you for your thoughtful gift to help my students with the fit of learning.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Davide

  • Games Make Learning Fun!

    Funded May 11, 2024

Thank you so much for these games. We used them the last few weeks of school and it was great to see the students interacting with one another, and not on their computers.

The students were competitive and having a great time. Their favorite was Jenga and the Guess Who with Animals game.

The guess who game with animals I used for my newly English language learners, and it was a great way for students to practice using their English skills to describe the animals! Thank you for this game that made practicing English fun for my students. Thank you again for your generosity.”

  • Comfy Corner

    Funded May 7, 2024

Thank you so much for these chairs for our comfy corner. My students absolutely love them! As you can see in one picture, they get quite comfortable sitting in them when at school. This picture was the last week of school, when we were done completing work and enjoying some time watching a movie.

I appreciate being able to give my students a place to sit when they have to charge their laptops. I have also found that students enjoy working together when sitting in these chairs and that they are more productive since they are comfortable.

So thank you for your generosity.”

    With gratitude,

  • Snacks are the Best!

    Funded Apr 22, 2024

Thank you so much for these generous snacks! My students loved them so much, I was unable to grab a picture of them snacking on them. We used them as part of our rewards store so that students could buy the snack of their choice when we had a double period of ELA. We gave the students a snack break, and they loved being able to purchase the snacks that they earned. It was incredibly nice to not have to spend my own money on snacks (as I do that quite often). Thank you so much for your generosity, I know that they loved it!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Davide

  • Our Comfy Corner

    Funded Jan 4, 2024

My students LOVE these chairs. Often times, they come into my classroom with devices that need to be charged. To get the devices plugged in requires students to move their desk and connect to an outlet near the wall. Having these chairs allows students to easily access the outlet and allows them to sit in these comfy chairs. Students have been coming into my class and asking if they can sit on their chairs during the class period. I have allowed students to take turns using them. To have this flexible seating option is great, so thank you.”

I would love the chance to buy owl pellets for my students. When I was in elementary school we had the opportunity to dissect animals and it is still something that I remember today. It was such a hands on experience that it was hard to forget, including the awful smell! My students would love being able to break apart the owl pellet. This experience would really connect each one of them with nature. They will use their findings to determine exactly what the owl ate. The students might find rodent, mole, birds, and shrew body parts. They can find skulls, ribs, limbs, and even the vertebrate. This project will help science come alive for the students.
