This classroom project was brought to life by Charles Schwab and one other donor.

Due to our schools location within a low Socio-Economic area, the majority of our my students don't have access to technology within the home. Therefore, the majority of my projects are technology centered in order to provide the maximum technology exposure possible. My students will use the laptops to have in-class access to technology. This will provide us the opportunity to complete research and explore the on-line databases. in addition, the students will be able to access StudyIsland, which will broaden and enhance their Math skills. Lastly, having the additional technology will allow students to have additional access to their textbooks online. Exposing my students to technology will give them computer skills they will use the rest of their school careers. We will use them in work stations for a technology driven lesson to watch interactive videos and do research based projects. In math stations, students will use it for multiplication fact fluency. My students will be able to take practice tests for the state assessment. With the additional laptops, the students can take them to their seat and demonstrate ownership.
