  • Help This Traveling Teacher

    Funded Nov 10, 2021

Thanks to your generosity, our students have had a wonderful opportunity to engage with new technology that is transforming their learning experiences. Due to the improved quality of the projector, we are able to see more details in images.

This new technology has made learning more interactive and engaging. For example, when we examined "Death of Socrates" students were able to pick up on subtle details of the painting to accurately analyze the situation and purpose of the painting. In prior years, this was impossible, as the projector did not provide the necessary resolution.

Your support has made all of this possible, and we are incredibly thankful for your donation. The impact of your generosity will continue to serve our students for many years to come. Thank you.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Lim

  • Everything Can't be Digital.

    Funded Nov 2, 2019

Through your generous donation, I was able to secure a color laser copier and resume paper for my students. We have been lucky enough to have this printer for a few years now and in that time, many of my students have been able to go to the print station and print out resumes for their part time jobs before starting college.

In the past few months, my students were tasked with writing letter of appreciation or complain letters to companies whose product they frequently use. Rather than send an email, they were tasked with sending a physical letter. Many have had positive results with companies writing back to them. This interaction has motivated them to writer letter and not an email to congressmen and women whom they either agree or disagree with. Without your support, this would not have been possible.

    Thank you.”

    Funded Sep 9, 2024

Thank you for your generous donation. This will go along way in helping my students properly charge their devices. Even though this should have been addressed by our school, it with support from organizations and people such as yourself that we can properly support our students. Once again, thank you for your support.”

  • Paper, Tissues, Pens, and Wipes

    Funded Aug 18, 2024

Thank you for your generous donation to fund my donor's choose project. All these items will go along way in helping my students to access to basic school supplies they desperately need.

I can't wait for these items to arrive and so we will never have to worry about running out of these items. Well at least for the 24/25 school year. Nevertheless, thank you Google for making this happen.”

  • Tools for Distance Learning

    Funded Jun 27, 2020

Thank you very much for helping me support these two student's goal in their pursuit of a higher education. One students will be pursuing a degree in English and Kinesiology to pursue a career in education, and the second will be studying to become a mechanical Engineer.

I cannot thank you enough for the impact your generous donation has made, not only for these two students, but for their families. Both students live in households were neither could have afforded their own laptops and they had recently returned their borrowed Chromebooks from school. Both told me that they were worried they would need to complete their college course work on their parent's smart phones.

The parents of these two students wanted me to relay their gratitude to you as well. They were incredibly grateful for the gift and it gave them tremendous relief of stress and guilt for not being able to provide for their children.

Once again, thank you for your generosity.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Lim

Although I work at a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Architecture, Arts, and Math) School, and though we have a fully functional Engineering lab on campus, one equipment we lack are printers. Students can be seen running around every morning trying to print their assignments. I want to create a computer workstation for my students where they can go and print not only their assignments, but their resumes and cover letters. Many of my seniors, and even juniors are desperate to go and apply for jobs. It would be nice to provide resources that can help them in this endeavor, since most are not doing this to earn spending money, but to help their parent(s). In addition to the printer, I would like to offer additional resources, such as nice resume paper.
