The use of technology is a constant in the lives of our students, and the lives of children all around the world. In order to become college and career ready, all students need to have daily and consistent access and exposure to technology. My students need a laptop to increase the amount of classroom computers. There are only 4 computers per class, but 30 students. My students will also benefit from the use of an Ipad because it will increase the access to the internet, along with the laptop, but it will also give students exposure to a different type of technology other than the computer. My students also need a printer in order to print their assignments and activities, and a speaker so we can use audio books during story time. The exposure to all of these different types of technology will allow my students to compete with other students around the world so that they can become college and career ready like other kids in the world.
