  • Calming Safe Reading Nook

    Funded Dec 31, 2023

My students had been asking for a bean bag chair all year. You can't imagine how excited they were to see the two new bean bag chairs in the reading nook. They have been a big success. The bean bags have not only helped create a cozy reading place, but it's an ideal spot for students who need a place to just unwind.

We also appreciate the sensory cards. Preschool children love to discover how different objects feel. The variety of the cards provides both stimulation and calm.

    Thank You for your support!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. M.

  • Stiff Fingers and Tight Muscles

    Funded Aug 25, 2023

I wanted to take a moment to share the incredible impact your generosity has had on my classroom and the young minds I have the privilege of teaching.

As I introduced the puzzle boards you provided to my students, their faces lit up with pure joy. Their initial reactions were a heartwarming blend of excitement and curiosity. It was a moment that reminded me of the power of simple, thoughtful gifts.

Since incorporating these materials into our daily activities, I've seen remarkable growth in my students' fine motor skills. Their dexterity has improved, and they've become more adept at problem-solving, thanks to the challenges presented by these puzzles. It's been a true delight to watch their progress unfold.

I want you to know that your generosity has made a profound difference in our classroom. Your contribution has not only enriched our learning environment but has also ignited a passion for discovery and exploration among my students.”

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your generous donation towards helping restock all of the essentials items in our room. Your support means the world to us and will help us keep our room germ free and our kids healthy and ready to learn. Little kids love to touch and feel everything, and with the hygiene supplies we can happily encourage their eager minds for exploration! We are truly fortunate to have donors like you who believe in the power of education and its positive influence on young minds. Your contribution will make a lasting difference, and we are incredibly grateful for your support.”

  • Achoo, Achoo, I'm Hungry!

    Funded Dec 30, 2022

We are extremely grateful for the generous donation of cleaning supplies to our classroom. Maintaining good hygiene is especially important in shared spaces like classrooms. The supplies have been put to good use in helping us maintain a hygienic environment for our students. Our preschoolers have a tendency to sneeze and pick their noses, so we have been wiping down the classroom surfaces they use frequently, and reminding them to wash their hands with soap and water and dry them after doing so.

In addition, we appreciate the snacks that were donated. Many of our students do not bring snacks from home.. Providing snacks for our students helps ensure that they have the energy and focus to learn. Thank you so much for your support!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. M.

  • Social-Emotional Learning begins in Pre-K

    Funded Aug 19, 2022

Your generous donation allowed our classroom the opportunity to learn and develope skills related to playing together and acknowleging differences. Our students were encouraged seeing dolls that looked like them represtend in our classroom. The outdoor sensory pathway encouraged our students to use their gross motor skills, play together as a team, take turns and share. It also encourages them to get outside and play! Putting this activity together taught the students how to problem solve to create something beautiful!”

    With gratitude,

  • Family LOVE

    Funded Jan 6, 2022

We really appriciate your generosity. We are using the headphones to connect to our classroom chromebooks to help our students watch different phonics videos. This is helping our students better understand letter sounds and help them recognize all 26 letters.

Home center dishes, The students now show me how to set a table. Most of my students sit in front of the TV when eating. We talk about how this should be a time to reflect on their day. Tell your parents what you learned or what you saw.

Our doll house furniture and families are really helping our students better create families that are diverse. Which help them to feel better about their family dynamics. That which represent their own families.

Thank you all so much for your generosity again.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. M.

  • Inspiring PreK Creativity and Fine Motor Skills

    Funded Feb 4, 2021

My class and I want to thank you so much for funding our project. This has meant so much to us and we are truly grateful. When the materials first arrived the students were so excited!

Since the arrival of the new materials we have been able to paint various pictures with paint. We have made our "Funny Bunny" family pictures for Easter. We have made Mother's Day cards and planted flowers for their Mother's Day gift. We will also be using the materials to make a magnet for a different Mother's Day gift. They will be making a crown with jewels for graduation.

These are just some of the examples of the ways in which we have utilized the new materials in my classroom since their arrival. We have several other projects planned for Father's Day and for graduation so we are excited to continue using our new materials.

Thank you again for your contribution to this project and to my classroom. It is truly appreciated!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. M.

Students love to show their creativity and in order to show that creativity they need fine motor skills. Each year we see more and more students with fine motor deficits. Their finger muscles have not fully developed. The materials I have asked for can all be used to develop stronger fingers to do such activities as holding a pencil to write with and to draw with, using their pincer grasp to pick up materials such as pennies, buttons, beads, and more, and to create an art project, and much more.
