This classroom project was brought to life by Two Screens for Teachers and 3 other donors.

I am requesting funding for Chromebooks so that my students can develop their technological, research and writing skills as part of their AP Government & Politics class. Students will use the Chromebooks to prepare for a variety of projects which include: debates, moot courts, mock trials, model congress and a mock election campaign. Students look forward to these types of projects every year as they have become a tradition in our school community. Students from all grades come to watch the students in my AP Governments classes hold their debates and mock election events. I have an average of 26 students per class. When tech based lessons are implemented, I have to share our school's limited technology resources with other teachers. Most of the technology at our school has become obsolete and unreliable. A small set of Chromebooks will really allow my students to have regular access to technology in our AP Government classroom. This will greatly enhance the quality of their work.
