Flexibility! We all need it including students! Now more than ever students needs the opportunity to have a things in the classroom to provide flexibility to their learning. For example, flexibility in their seating whether they are at a table, centers, rug, or classroom library. Giving students the option of flexible seating is more enticing to complete work. In addition, flexibility in resources. Students all learn in various way and giving students option and flexibility in the resources they get to choose to complete their work is better for their engagement and learning. Their learning has been impacted from Covid because they have been told no for too many things. I would love to tell them, "Yes! You can use that. Yes, you can sit there!"
