Stop, Collaborate and Listen!
Funded Oct 10, 2023Thank you so much for your generous donation to our classroom to purchase Sony Headphones for our whole class! We are so excited to have comfortable, quality, working headphones to use on a daily basis.
We will be using our headphones to listen to ebooks and expert readers, watch videos and take notes, include audio messages in our assignments and so much more. Our thirst for knowledge is insatiable!
I am still in awe at the generosity and giving spirit of each of you. Thank you, truly and sincerely, for helping make our classroom a place where learning is fun!"”

Mastery With VersaTiles!
Funded Oct 22, 2018Thank you so much for your generous donation to our classroom to purchase VersaTiles! We have been using them for several months now, and they are one of the students' favorite activities. They love the versatility, independence and support that this wonderful program offers.
We use the Literacy VersaTiles every day during Station Rotation. Students have become masters at finding a challenging level and persevering through. It's amazing some of the things they have learned with this activity! We also use the Math VersaTiles in the afternoons. Some students have even taught themselves how to put fractions on a numberline, sort decimals from least to greatest and even find square roots! Their thirst for knowledge is insatiable!
I am still in awe at the generosity and giving spirit of each of you. Thank you, truly and sincerely, for helping make our classroom a place where learning is fun!”

Increasing Focus Through Active Sitting
Funded Dec 30, 2016There are no words to express my deep gratitude for your generosity. Thank you for helping enhance my students' learning and ultimately to create memorable classroom experiences for my current students as well as many classes to come. In just two short weeks, these 6 stools have already had a very positive impact on the climate in our classroom and the learning that each individual is able to do each day.
During our Morning Meeting, students collaborated together to decide how we could equitably share the stools. As a whole group, they came up with a voting system that would ensure everyone's suggestions were honored and that the voting was an example of democracy. These are 8 and 9 year olds! Truly, from the moment our stools arrived, students understood the value in being able to control their physical learning as well as their mental learning - and they want this for each other as well. I've overheard conversations like, "you can use the stool during reading and I can use it during math, since that's when I'm the most wiggly", and "you're having a hard time concentrating; you can use my stool if you want." They sincerely melt my heart the way they encourage each other to be the best they can be. And this is all thanks to YOU!
It is my deepest desire that you know just how much your gift has impacted my students. Your kindness will not be forgotten by these young learners, and we are all so grateful for your contribution.”
