Hello! I am a teacher at Lawrence Central High School in Indianapolis, IN. I teach English to juniors and seniors. I have been co-teaching with a history teacher for the past 5 years. In this interdisciplinary class, we strive to teach our students about the many connections between literature and history in our country. We also try to expose them to activities they may not normally participate in - we go see professional theater, the symphony, special music events, historical scavenger hunts, and more. We believe that knowing the connections in life is what helps our students be more educated, well-rounded adults.
