Basic Classroom Necessities
Funded Aug 9, 2021Thank you so much for your ongoing generosity towards my classroom. I can't even begin to describe what an impact your donation to my latest project has made on my classroom. We went from gloomy classroom to bright and colorful. The students get to walk into a bright and cheerful room instead of a depressing space. We used to have to reuse these gloomy blue folders that were falling apart at the seams and now we have bright new sturdy ones. There are storage bins for organization and even a wonderful aromatherapy situation going on. All these details add so much to our classroom environment!”

Funded Sep 21, 2020I cannot thank you all enough for what you have done for my students! Students use technology everyday and when it is part of their learning, it becomes the hook that grabs their attention. They like to learn by using technology as a way to enhance their work. The laptop is a way to motivate my students to do class presentations and finish projects using today's software so that they are tech savvy outside of the classroom. It will also promote more well rounded students with skills that they can use when seeking employment. Technology gives us the ability to unleash countless possibilities! Sanitary Speech
Funded Sep 24, 2020I would like to express my gratitude to you for your most generous donation. The photos on the website do not give justice to the amazing manifestations of your generosity. The supplies you have provided for us have enabled us to learn safely during this pandemic.
The children all know that as soon as they enter the speech room, they must put in gloves so that they can handle the therapy manipulatives. This has even enabled some of our lower functioning children to gain new vocabulary words! The plexi glass enables me to be in closer proximity to my students in a safe fashion. I love that I am able to use the UV light box to sanitize toys and manipulatives after each use. The children are gaining crucial language concepts and skills in a safe manner and its a win win!
Without your help most of my students would not have the opportunity to experience such a safe and an enriching learning environment. Thank you so much for the wonderful opportunities you have provided my students!”

Learning Laptop
Funded Mar 17, 2018I am floored by your kindness and generosity! Thanks to you and your big hearted donations, my students are able to learn in an ideal fashion! The laptop is highly popular with the older students. It is not only helping them achieve the IEP goals, it is also facilitating an opportunity of collaboration among the students. Many of my students are impaired socially and have difficulty interacting and engaging in appropriate conversational exchanges with their peers. Through the laptop, I have been able to target appropriate turn taking and providing support to a peer in a socially appropriate manner.
The children are so eager to come to speech and I am so happy that I can use the technology to reach my students with a variety of learning styles. This is helping me target and address their needs in a way that they are eager to be a pat of

Cool Learning
Funded Oct 4, 2017Thank you so much for your generous donation to my classroom!! I have been making so much use from our new materials. We are able to blow the fan to make the temperature in our 4th floor classroom more tolerable. Its such a pleasure to have the students focused on learning instead of complaining how hot it is!
The white board paper allows the students to demonstrate their knowledge and share their work with their peers. We used to have a faded out blackboard that would only show chalk writing very faintly. Now that the whiteboard paper is placed ontop of it, it facilitates a bright learning background.
The printer is AMAZING! I can print copies on demand!! If a student masters a skill mid-session, I am able to move on to a higher level skill right away and do not have to wait.
The beanbags are a dream come true! The students are so eager to read and partake in discussion in this relaxed learning environment.
We could not have achieved this level of learning without your generosity and kind heart! You were absolutely right about the ROI. The amount of success I have seen so far is unbelievable. I hope to continue to be able to give my students the necessary skills to learn and develop.”

Assistive Technology to Access the World
Funded Jun 13, 2017I cannot fully express my gratitude to you. Your kind and generous donations have already had a tremendous impact on my students in just a short amount of time. The iPad is used with both my younger and older students. It is helping me achieve the IEP goals of both verbal and non verbal students in order to help them communicate effectively. It is really useful and it provides us with different venues of learning. My students are able to learn new vocabulary words, demonstrate comprehension of concepts, research different topics and even take customized tests to sharpen their skills.
The children are so eager to come to speech and explore a language rich environment with this new addition to our classroom. Additionally, the children are gaining crucial language concepts and skills as well as improving their phonological awareness skills. This is helping me target and address their needs in a better fashion.
Our school is facing serious budget cuts and without your generosity we would never have been able to provide the students with such crucial resources. Thank you so much for the wonderful opportunities you have provided my students as well as the future of America!
