Funded Dec 7, 2023Thank you so so much for donating to our project! Your generosity has brought such joy to our classroom and our hearts! With your donations we were able to receive sweatshirts, coats, gloves and hats for the cold winter months along with various snacks to fuel our students throughout the day.
The clothing material has been a huge hit and such a blessing to know that we are able to provide our students with items to help keep them warm during recess and even allow them to utilize outside of school if they do not have outerwear. The snacks have also been a huge hit as prizes, general snack break or end of day treat while working on homework. Students love being able to pick through the bucket for something they love.
We cannot thank you enough for your generosity to our classroom! From the bottom over our hearts we truly appreciate you and your kindness.”

Funded Mar 27, 2018Thank you so so much for donating to our classroom this year! The students and myself were so eager to hear when our project got funded. The carpet is a great addition to our classroom and provides the perfect reading spot along with group meeting spot for special events. I will never forget the day when our carpet arrived and I was able to keep the surprise in hiding until the following morning. Upon arrival the students shouted with such joy that we finally had a comfortable and cozy spot to enjoy our books. The carpet gets its use on a daily basis and helps create a calm environment based on it's cool and collective design. Once again thank you so much for your donation which brings such joy to my students lives.”

This donation also came in a time of great need for students were able to turn to exciting books to help unwind from PARCC preparations and the overall test. Once again we cannot thank you enough for all your generosity this year! My students are eager to read all of our new books before the end of the year and I am excited for them on their journey of loving to read.”

Cheers for Some Chairs
Funded Dec 6, 2017Thank you so much for your generosity and all your help with funding our recent project for our classroom! All day long students are expected to sit in chairs that tend to lead them to fidgety behavior or simply to the need of standing and stretching. While chairs are a must have for the classroom, it is up to us teachers to get the students to be engaged within these settings. Therefore, getting a class set of stools for the room was a huge success and brought such joy to the students. Not only are the stools a new way of sitting for the students, they are also full of bright fun colors to help carry the high energy of learning within our room. My students truly do love every opportunity they get to switch their chair out for a stool and love all the color options they have. We cannot thank you enough for your generosity and willingness to support our learning needs and grow our love of learning in a fun and engaging environment.”

Keeping Comfortable and Updated
Funded Jul 28, 2017Thank you so much for your generous donation to our classroom! Your donation has allowed our classroom to grow in a level of comfort for our flexible seating with bean bags and swivel chairs which the students truly adore. Students are even able to use these seating options when they dive into the Time for Kids subscription that was also funded. This magazine subscription has allowed the students to stay updated on topics going on in the world as well as exposed them to cross curriculum learning.
Everyday my students com in with smiles on their faces ready to learn and a lot of that is thanks to your donations. All of your donations and efforts have made the classroom such a warm and welcoming place that we are forever grateful for. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!”

This classroom project was brought to life by Townsend Press and 9 other donors.Learning Resources
Funded Nov 11, 2016My students and I cannot thank you enough for your generous donations! With your donations we were able to get headphones and clipboards that are used in our daily routines. The students have been so excited and eager to learn since the material arrived!
The clipboards allow students to get up and move around the room for flexible seating which is crucial since our students remain in their main classroom all day even for specials. Therefore, the clipboards have been a huge staple in getting the kiddos up and moving. While the clipboards have been a great addition the students truly enjoy the headphones for this allows them to interact with more online resources at an independent or whole group level. The headphones allow for several students to be working on different materials or areas and have the focus simply on their own work. The headphones even allow for students to listen to audio stories and even take a break to play educational games.
Once again we can't thank you enough for the generous donations! Nothing compares to the smile and eagerness on students faces when they are loving their classroom materials and learning.”
