Raised Beds
Funded Apr 10, 2025My students and I would like to thank all of you so very much for all of your kind thoughts and generous donations. This project will bring students together to form bonds and friendships that they normally would not have had the opportunity to do. They had experiences and helped to save the environment, win, win! I look forward to watching the growth of the plants as well as the students and friendships!
This project helped to raise awareness and help save the bees by creating habitats and food sources for the honey bees.

Save the Bees and Have a Snack!
Funded Mar 7, 2024Thank you for the donation! My students enjoyed learning how to properly plant and grow the bulbs, bushes, and trees. Many students didn't know the berries grow on bushes. They are excited to watch the blooms develop and see the bees buzzing to collect pollen and pollinate the flowers. They are so proud that they are helping not
only the bees by providing these resources for the them, but also the environment.
They look forward to eating the fruits and nuts for snacks and sharing pictures with their families!”

Funded Feb 17, 2023Thank you so much for all of your donations, my students and I truly appreciate them very much. The books have given students access to information they would not have gained otherwise. The students enjoyed reading the books. My students love to read graphic novels! The Max Axiom character is relatable and helps to bring to context I am teaching into perspective. The books show the Science applications in real world scenarios.
Thanks again so very much for the kind thoughts and generous donation.”

Eye Dissection
Funded Nov 30, 2022My students and I would like to thank you for you kind thoughts and generous donations that made this activity come to be! The students squealed with anticipation and excitement as they cut open the eyes. Some students needed a little encouragement to get started while others dived right in. The eye dissection activity was talked about for day and now some students want to be surgeons and others are interested in the field of optics. Again, my students and I thank for the making this activity a possibility!”

Funded Nov 29, 2022My students and I would like to thank you each of you for your thoughtfulness and kind donations that made purchasing the books and games for this project possible. The students learned how to play the games by working together to read and comprehend the instructions. The games forced the students to use good social skills in order to play the games. The books helped to provide much needed background knowledge for various topics and gave students exposure to a variety of science related careers.”

Funded Oct 11, 2022Thank you so much for your thoughtful donations that made Watch me Grow happen! These materials are helping students understand how plants grow and experience embryology. Many of my students have never experienced the hatching of a chick or enjoyed watching plants grow. These materials are bringing real world experiences to studying parts of a plant and the life cycle of a chick. The students are always excited to see the development of the embryos when we candle the eggs. The classes take turns watering the plants and enjoy doing it.”
