High Interest Chapter Books for Lower Level Readers
Funded Sep 16, 2022It is with the most grateful heart I say Thank you! Wow! I cannot believe we got fully funded in the pre-funding stage. You have made it possible for all my learners to be able to participate in reading. You have opened a door to them that wasn’t there before. For that, I cannot express how thankful I am.”

Classroom Library Face Lift
Funded Oct 11, 2019I wish you could have felt the energy in the room when the students saw the boxes of books. We went through them and carefully put them all on our library shelf. We created expectations so that everyone takes care of them and our silent reading has really been impacted. Students are LOVING the new books. They ask all the time if we can have DEAR time (Drop Everything And Read). The books are not only high interest but they are great for their reading levels. Today as I was asking a few students about the impact of the new books on them one students told me "I really like the new books because I can read these ones and understand these ones". Another student said, "The Squish books are my favorite because they are the first book I can read by myself." My heart exploded when I heard this. To hear a student who was a reluctant reader say they are excited to read because they can read these books and they are interesting to them really was so gratifying and heartwarming. None of this would have been possible without you, our donors. You have made an impact on each one of my students and we are so thankful for your generosity. You truly brought out classroom library back to life and we couldn't be happier!”

Professional Development for Mrs. Stanton
Funded Apr 28, 2018Since I received these books I feel that my teaching practice has gotten much stronger. The 4 content area books that incorporate content into morning meeting have really made an impact and brought our morning meeting to life! We now choose activities that relate to different content areas that we are studying and get to do do a fun activity or a fun share based on that. Some of the activities in the books are great for test prep or review. Anything that makes learning fun and engaging is an A+ in our book! In the reading and writing strategies books this is where I get most of my lesson plan ideas from for reading and writing workshop. The books are filled with different skills students need in reading and writing and it gives you step by step lesson plan ideas to use and implement. My favorite part of using these lessons is the anchor chart ideas that come with them. My class is very visual and the anchor charts that are coupled with the lessons make it so much easier for them to understand. These books have made me a stronger teacher and have impacted my students in such positive ways. Thank you so much!”

Funded Mar 27, 2017We cannot thank you enough for this wonderful gift! We get to wiggle and learn! What could be better! You have made it a lot easier to focus and stayed engaged in our work. When we first got our flexible seating we were so excited! We pumped them up and modeled and practiced good use of them. We now have them in our room as a seating option. The best part about the wiggle discs is that we can take them and sit anywhere in the classroom as long as it a safe choice. This really helps us because some of us enjoy the carpet or the floor.
Thank you so much for our flexible seating. We are forever grateful for you!”

Flexible Seating for Growing Students
Funded Mar 27, 2018We cannot thank you enough for your generous donations in helping us get different flexible seating for our growing bodies. We are so much more comfortable in our learning environment now. We have learned the correct way to use our new tools and have vowed to use them correctly in the future. We were so excited when we saw the boxes in the classroom that we immediate had to open them up! It was so exciting trying to figure out where they would go and how we would fit them into our routine. Now that we have our new seats we are still collaborating and communicating and practicing our 21st century skills every day...just with a little more comfort!
Thank you again for supporting us and supporting our project. We are forever thankful!”

This classroom project was brought to life by Ripple and 4 other donors.Flexible Seating
Funded Nov 19, 2016Let me first start off by saying thank you so much! We are so thrilled to have your generous donation and help in our flexible seating. Since we started flexible seating, student achievement has gone up, their work product has improved and their moral has increased. Each day they get to come in and they get to choose where to sit and we have you to thank for a big part of that.
When I first told the students that I created this project I asked them what other kind of seating choices would like they like. We saw different examples and they chose the Bouncy Bands and the Wobble Stools. Every day after I created the project they always asked me if it was funded or not. When our project became fully funded I could not wait to tell them. I told them in our morning meeting and it was the highlight of the day! I would keep them posted on the shipping of our materials and they counted down the days. Once the materials got here together as a class community we opened them and put the stool together and together used our strength to get the bouncy bands on the chairs. And from that moment they were a hit.
Since the students have been using the bouncy bands and the wobble stools I have seen drastic changes in fidgeting and behavior while working. For example, some of my students have a great amount of energy and sometimes find it hard to sit while working. When they are on the wobble stools they are wobbling, and twisting and moving from side to side but they are still doing their work...and their work product is incredible!
We are now a fully implemented flexible seating classroom. Our efforts have inspired the efforts of other teachers at our school. My students and I are always collaborating on what we can do next and what would help us learn and grow. We will be forever grateful for your donation. Your gratitude has made a positive impact for myself but mainly for my students.
Thank you so much!”
