Violin Virtuosos in the Making

The new violins were waiting for me when I got to East Garner yesterday. I was so excited! It so rewarding to know that now each of my Orchestra students can participate with equitable access to instruments. During our remote live session, I told my students about the instruments coming in and the kids were enthused. I witnessed the expression of joy on one of the recipients and his father a few minutes ago when they came to East Garner to pick up a violin.

I applaud the company for not sending inferior instruments earlier in the year when the ones you had purchased for us were on backorder. It's unfortunate that students had to wait until second quarter before their instrument came in. But now they are here and they will be around for many, many years to come.”
