  • Getting Comfy While Doing Work

    My class and I would like to express our deepest gratitude for your unselfish contribution to my project, Getting Comfy While Learning. My students are now able to sit on comfy chairs while reading their books and participating in partner talk.

    Your generous donation was also used towards purchasing lessons from a website, Teacher Pay Teacher. This website allows me to purchase engaging fun, high intellectual lessons for my students. This is my first year teaching a new curriculum. Therefore, this website allowed me to purchase lessons from veteran teachers whom have been using this curriculum for many years.

Young children are naturally inquisitive, full of questions about the world around them and how things work. Providing this opportunity for scientific discovery in the early years is beneficial to young children in several ways. Scientific explorations and observations generate so much thought, insight, conversation and knowledge. These are all things that are so important at this age. These children will benefit from using the requested engineering, roller coaster and magnet kits. These science STEM materials will encourage the children to think outside the box by discovering unique ways to explore different situations.

About my class
