Hybrid Learning: Happy, Healthy Minds
Funded Aug 11, 2020Due to your generosity my students and I were able to have a great school year. The materials you helped fund allowed me to bring my hybrid class to life. While my scholars were virtual one of them even quipped "Professor Alequin, you have everything at home", and indeed I had materials to help make the transition easier for them. I was also able to give some items to students who needed them. We have had to transition to remote a few times since then, and the materials you provided for me continue to make an impact in the lives of my students. Thank you greatly for your contribution.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Alequin
This classroom project was brought to life by A Generous Donor and 5 other donors.Safety and Success!
Funded Aug 14, 2020Teaching and learning this year requires ingenuity, resilience and a ton of trial and error. Thanks in part to your donations the learning and fun scholars expect has not stopped. My students said "Professor Alequin you have everything at home, you are so prepared", and this is largely because of you, my generous donors. Teaching remotely has many challenges, and when I created this project I did not know I would teach remotely for most of the year. However, the materials I received from donors choose helped my scholars and I transition easily. We use the white board daily. The magnetic manipulatives (counters) help bring virtual learning to life, and I can see the smile on my students faces. I cannot wait to use more materials when we come to those units. Your generosity cannot be thanked enough. The impact will live on forever.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Alequin
