Headphones for the Holidays!
Funded Mar 27, 2018I wish that all of you could have been in my classroom the first time my students saw these headphones. They seriously went nuts over them. The impact that these headphones have had on my students has been bigger than I could have even imagined. I honestly didn't realize how much they meant to my students until I began reading the thank-you notes. My students expressed how thankful they were, how much they needed these headphones, and how much nicer they are than any headphones they have used before. This warmed my heart to see how appreciative they were, and how much it meant to them that you would donate your money to help them.
Since getting these headphones, my students have all been able to work online without any problems. This is something that they couldn't do before. Students either had to take turns using them, work on the computer without sound, or distract other students by having the sound come through the computer. I know that headphones are something that you might see as small, but this is something that makes a HUGE impact in my classroom. Thank you again for your donations!”

Funded Nov 2, 2016My students have been using the wobble chairs and the bouncy bands for a little while now and are absolutely loving them. They love the fact that they don't have to sit still the entire time that I am teaching them. I am also loving these new products because I am able to keep a little more of my sanity by them getting some of their energy out and not fidgeting as much as they used to.
I have chosen to use my wobble chairs at my center table. All of the students were in awe when they first saw them and I knew that I would have to share with the entire class. This way they all get the opportunity to use them when they work with me in small groups at my table. I have also randomly moved them around the room to different workstations so they can move around when we are doing other activities in class.
My students are and I are still so grateful for your generosity in donating to our project. I know that there are a lot of opportunities out there to give back so thank you very much for picking this community. You are making a bigger difference in the life of these students than you may realize by donating to our classroom. Again, thank you so much!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Bolland
