In my classroom students access learning tools on the computer daily. We have several stations going at the same time to accommodate each of my students' individual needs. The two learning tools we access are ST Math and Imagine Learning. Both require sound to give feedback to the students. Headphones will allow students to focus on their own work and improve learning and performance. Giving each student headphones while working on the computer will eliminate distractions and allow them to focus on the work at hand. This will make a huge difference in my classroom, giving my students more independence to better reach their full potential and also decreasing behavior issues associated with distractions. As a teacher, I will be better able to provide individual help and support to my students as each student is on task to meet their individual goals.
