This classroom project was brought to life by Macy’s and 3 other donors.

My students struggle to learn in a traditional way, I am requesting these specific items to enhance my student's ability to learn and maintain what is taught to them. We will get the opportunity to learn words, letters, and literacy skills through fun, engaging, and sensory-based activities. My students do need to be taught with materials that are tactile, due to them struggling with sensory needs, and sensory processing disorders. Sensory materials help my students register and maintain what is being taught to them in a shorter time period than non-sensory material. These resources are going to be used on a daily basis through centers.
