• Technology Moves Us!!

  We are so very grateful for your generous support. We are now able to utilize this iPad to support the needs of all learners in our class. We especially love to read stories on vooks .com. We also have been improving our phonics skills daily on word study programs. This is now the favorite center in our classroom. The class was so excited to see the box arrive!! We strive every day to do our best and this gift assists us in this!! Again, thank you for your support and allowing us to have this amazing piece of technology for our classroom!!”

• Centered on Learning to Read, Write and Collaborate!

  Dear Donors,

  Thank you so much for your support. We have just begun to use our new resources and we the students are enjoying them so much. We were so excited when our packages started arriving!! We have set up some new amazing centers. They are focused on developing our language skills.

  We now have a new handwriting center that is supporting us in writing words. We now have our very own sound phones which are helping us to hear ourselves as we make sounds. We even have these great new picture cards which are helping us to discover and name objects in English!! What an amazing system we have in our new easel. All our tools are organized in clearly labeled baskets.

  We are learning so much every day. With constant practice and support from our peers and teacher these tools are helping us to read and write. We are so grateful for these gifts and are so empowered by them!!”

• At Home In The World With Animals

  This is just a small way for me to share with you our appreciation. The animal activities, games and vocabulary cards truly enhanced our topic of study. While learning about animals and their habitats it was of such a great help to the students being able to break into small groups to explore.

  The children experienced such enriching experiences as they used the animal and their habitats mats to sort animals into their correct habitats. They also used the vocabulary cards to explore new terms and use them to describe what they were learning about.

  It is difficult to provide students with all of these enriching activities for each topic we study. It is because of donors like you that teachers are able to provide students with these experiences!

• Getting To Know You!!!

  This is just a small token of my gratitude for your generous donation to my classroom. The calendars and all about me posters have provided my students with opportunities to develop their creative expression while also promoting a healthy sense of self. We have used the calendars to mark important events, develop an awareness of the months, weather, holidays and seasons.

  The all about me big book promoted a healthy awareness of how important each persons unique attributes are. We are now so fortunate to be able to add ownership to our projects with photos taken with the digital camera. The children are so proud to pose with their work. We also will now be able to create many more projects with personal touches that will be shared throughout the school.
