A Scanner to Save Some Trees!
Funded Nov 22, 2019First of all I want to thank you again for your generosity! People like you are the ones that make dreams come true! My student are very grateful that they can now access documents from sites and not use paper all the time.
A scanner will save time and it will be very convenient for me to put up student work so all students have access to it and it can be use as models for their own work. It will also create an environment where my students will see me trying to keep up with our technology era and not using traditional methods.

Immortalizing Resources
Funded Mar 27, 2018My project has been funded, and my students and I are all tremendously excited! With your support, we will be able to turn my class into a more engaging place, because by laminating supporting materials my students will use sturdy documents in order to learn a new language . I am confident that this will increase interest, and thus understanding.
This funding has come right on time. Looking ahead at my lessons for the coming months, I will be able to use all of these materials in an exciting and appropriate way to fuel student learning and achievement. One more time, thanks so much!”

Funded May 18, 2016I can't begin to express how grateful I am for your contribution to this project. . I plan to use the Kindle tablets for so many exciting activities and projects in my Spanish classroom! We can use the cameras to record oral presentations and skits. We can download ebooks in Spanish and Spanish educational apps! We can watch news broadcasts, weather reports, cooking shows and more in Spanish! We can connect to the wifi and play Kahoot and Nearpod activities online! My students would be so happy to have a class set of tablets of our own to use for class activities.
Most importantly, I am excited to tell my students where the tablets came from. I want them to know that people, in their community and outside of it, CARE about their education. I am excited to tell them that there are people (complete strangers!), that wanted THEM specifically to have these tablets to have fun learning. I want them to feel important and special, and they need to know it and believe it. Your donation will help them feel that, and I'm very grateful.
Another important point is that I have a few students that are ahead of the rest of the class. The kindles will allow me to differentiate and make sure that all students are challenge to their potential so technology in the classroom is really a great help to make sure students are learning.

Diverse Culture in the Classroom
Funded Apr 6, 2012It's only thanks to people and organizations like you that I am able to upgrade my teaching methods. Getting students interested in learning a new language is hard enough but adding new incentives is always a plus and your help has made it possible.
Getting these interactive Spanish magazines will be a great motivations for my students to have fun and learn at the same time. The magazines will add interest since they have fun articles and games to keep my students in task.
There are not enough words to express my sincere thanks. You make it possible for teachers to really create interesting and knowledgeable scenarios where the students learn and connect the information to real life experiences.”

Funded Mar 14, 2010Being a teacher means that you are always looking for new ways to engage the kids and that we are always learning at the same time our kids are. I find myself asking for advise from other teachers and other teaching ways to make sure our kids are taking in the information. I am not scared to try something new and always love some criticism so I can learn from it.
Using the projector in the classroom gives me an opportunity to keep them on task and at the same time assess their learning. My handwriting is not the best so I use it many times to project the directions for exercises during the class. To project a timer, exercises that we do all together as a class. To correct the exercises together using the projector. My students are really grateful for how often I use this technology and I have noticed more of them on task. The projector has given me an opportunity to teach the class more often using technology and as you know most of the kids today really respond to that because they are very familiar with it.
All my classrooms appreciate your help in providing the projector with your generous donations. They know and understand that giving back should be part of their life's and we are trying to incult that into their education. I told them know about your company that really cares and actually reaches out in the neighborhood to give back. They were able to realize that you should give back no matter how high up you are in your career. All my classes really thank you for the opportunity to see PowerPoint's, movie clips and any other kind of Spanish information through the projector and I thank you the most”

White Boards In The Classroom
Funded Mar 10, 2010First of all I just want to thank you again for your generosity. People and organizations like you are what make our societies better places. Many talk about how much they care but not many really act upon it and you are a few that really do and for that my students and I thank you.
Having enough whiteboards for all my students has been great. As soon as I get them out my class gets all excited and ready to do the work. Having the boards has given my students the opportunity to learn Spanish and have fun. Just by writing in a board gets them on task. Using the boards gives me an opportunity to assess them right away, correct them and give them positive reinforcement. Working by themselves or in groups with the boards gets their participation just because they want to write on them. These whiteboards are a great addition to my classes and are used very frequently.
My 2010 students give you many thanks and I will always be grateful. This has given me an opportunity to try different activities in the class to get their attention and make them want to learn Spanish. This whiteboards are a tool that will be use hopefully for a few more years and it will be thanks both of you. Again you have my gratitude and my deepest admiration being caring and giving.
