Creating an Engaging Learning Environment
Funded Aug 8, 2024We are using the new learning resources in engaging classroom practice that involve interactive games. The love them and ask for them daily.
One memorable moment was when we introduced a new game related to our current lesson. The students were thrilled and immediately eager to participate, which created a lively atmosphere in the classroom.
When the students first encountered the new materials, their reactions were overwhelmingly positive. They expressed excitement and curiosity, which contributed to an energetic learning environment.
As we move forward with our learning, the next steps include continuing to incorporate these engaging games into our learning activities, and more indiepenedent practice. The students are looking forward to deepening their understanding through these fun and interactive resources.”

Funded Sep 1, 2023Thank you for your generous donation.
The new carpet in our class is neutral colored and replaced a very brightly colored, old carpet. The entire class is more calming. Research shows neutral colors create a better learning environment.
The students LOVE the magnify glasses we use during reading groups. They make finding specific words and information more fun, they are truly engaged while using them.
The add of books to our classroom library has been a big hit as they love having new books that are just right for their reading level.
Know that your donation has made an impact in our classroom.”

This classroom project was brought to life by Colorado Department of Education.Flexible Seating! Give Students the Choice!
Funded May 25, 2017Thank you for getting "flexible seating" for my classroom. The kids are doing such a great job choosing where they sit and work. Our schedule is tighter every year and we aren't allowed extra time for the kids to move. These seats help the kids move and work at the same time! They love the tent and can't wait to go in there to read. Other kids walk past our room and peak in with wide eyes and want to come in. Know that your donation is being used and enjoyed everyday. I believe every class should have some sort of flexible seating choices for their students.”
