These materials and tools will make it easier for my sixth graders to engage in STEM based science activities. We have a new science curriculum intended to get students doing the work of scientists and engineers. These materials will allow them to get out and "do" science. It will allow them to gather data on weather and climate and use that information to help understand the world around them. Getting these tools into my students hands will give them the opportunity to use scientific equipment that they generally would not encounter. They will also allow them to conceptualize the way things are structured and formed.

About my class
