In my chemistry classes, we do several labs that students need to design on their own. Often, students design labs that investigate the chemical kinetics of a reaction. These experiments are often done on a small scale in a cuvette in a spectrometer. Since kinetic experiments often start as soon as reactants are added and the cuvettes have around a 3 mL volume maximum, students need a quick and accurate method for adding reactants to a cuvette. I currently have only 1 of these pipetteman, and it is always being used. If I had more of these pipetteman, students would be able to better conduct experiments such as these. These pipetteman are also useful in other experiments where small volumes are used.
