Help Our Future Scientist and Historians
Funded Dec 22, 2010I am writing this letter to express how thankful my students and I are to you for making such a generous donation to our classroom. Cells and the solar system are important concepts covered in the curriculum for Science. The activity tubs that were purchased thanks to you have been such an increased asset to use in my classroom.
With these materials, I have been able to design more hands-on science stations for the students to work at. As you can see from the pictures, the tubs included vocabulary cards with words on front and definitions on the back. Some of the cards also included great diagrams to correspond. These cards were a great asset to use on these topics. The sample activity cards that were provided in each tub were also very useful in creating work stations. It was great to not only get ideas, but also knowing that the materials were all in the tubs ready to use. I did not have to go and try to locate materials for the students to use in completing hands-on work. The students loved using the flashlight to create the phases of the moon. It was great!
Thank you again for your generous donation to our future scientists and historians.”

Colors of the United States
Funded Feb 11, 2010The resources that you graciously provided my students have helped them in many ways thus far. The scissors, color pencils, crayons, and markers have allowed my students to construct instructional diagrams and graphic organizers with bright colors and design. My hopes are that these colors and activities are going to help them throughout the remaining part of this year, and also on standardized tests. The students were thrilled the day the resources arrived! We are using the materials in all subjects, but they are especially helpfully in creating diagrams in Mathematics. They are usually given some type of activity using the resources a few times a week. This allows them to have a break from using the textbook and other pages. They love to be creative with their activities, and this allows them to express themselves as individuals. I cannot thank you enough for these valuable resources you have helped provide my students.”
